LyX is a document processor wich looks like a regular word processor. With this document processor you can do a lot. You can easily create mathematical content and structured documents, like articles and books. Thereby you can use LyX to produce your letter or film script.

The software is released under an Open Source License and you can download it for free. LyX is an international project developed in English. The program has been translated in a lot of languages, it supports the most European languages.
